PickPM.com Website Launch

The Metal Powder Industries Federation's Industry Development Board has completed a redesign of the PickPM.com website—a site used to promote the powder metallurgy (PM) industry through educational resources and by putting component designers and engineers in touch with component fabricators. With this relaunch, numerous application case studies, technical data, white papers, and additional resources work together to provide a detailed overview of why component engineers and designers should pick powder metallurgy over other metal-forming solutions.

The highlight of the PickPM website is a searchable directory of PM component fabricators. With a listing approaching 100 PM fabricators, all members of the MPIF, users can search the directory by material, industry, process, types of components, or by keyword. To be listed in the directory, a company must be a member of MPIF and a PM parts fabricator.

The redesigned website offers PM component designers and engineers extensive design specification information; educational tools, which include numerous application case studies covering eight PM market segments from automotive to recreational applications; as well as white papers, standards, publications, educational videos, and a gallery of award-winning PM components.
