LAM 2017: Advancing Additive with Lasers

The Laser Institute of America's (LIA) annual workshop, Laser Additive Manufacturing (LAM), returns this year to discuss when, where, and how to use laser additive manufacturing. The keynote presentation features "Additive Manufacturing at GE: The Vision." This year's workshop will be held February 21–22, 2017, at the Hilton Houston North.

Chaired by Milan Brandy, RMIT University, the ninth annual LAM Workshop will review current trends, materials, design and structures for additive manufacturing (AM), and more. A new session on micro/nano laser additive manufacturing will cover the latest research in this rapidly rising area of laser manufacturing.
