Video Release: An Overview of Metal Injection Molding

The Metal Powder Industries Federation’s Industry Development Board (IDB) has released the third video in a four-part educational series on powder metallurgy (PM). “An Overview of Metal Injection Molding” (MIM) is hosted by PM industry leader John Engquist, FAPMI, past president of the Center for Powder Metallurgy Technology (CPMT). In addition to an overview of the MIM process, Engquist discusses industry market segments, case studies, and more.

The first two videos in the series, “Introducing Powder Metallurgy and the PM Industry” and “Conventional Press-and-Sinter Powder Metallurgy,” are available on the MPIF website and YouTube Channel. The final video in the series on metal additive manufacturing is already in progress and will release by the end of the year.

The four-part series is based on the popular PickPM Day Seminar that has been presented to the end-user community over the last several years during the annual POWDERMET conference.
