  • Learn about the vast PM magnetic materials that are available; how to test these materials; and their market potentials
    • PM Soft-Magnetic Alloys
    • Soft Magnetic Composite (SMC) Materials
    • Sintered Permanent Magnets
  • Learn testing of magnetic materials
    • Copper wire wound toriods
    • AC and DC analysis
  • Explore AC and DC, electric motor and other electrical device applications
  • This seminar has been designed for individuals that have a minimum understanding of powder metallurgy (PM) magnetic materials and their properties.  The training starts with a broad introduction of magnetic terminology and builds the attendees understanding of the unique properties of magnetic materials.   The seminar includes 4 hours of hands on training in the Magnetic Physics Laboratory measuring and analyzing magnetic fields of PM magnetic materials including sintered PM,  soft magnetic composite (SMC) materials, and permanent sintered magnets.
