Formed in Brussels in 1989, the EPMA has three key missions: to promote and develop PM technology in Europe,. to represent the European PM industry within Europe and internationally, and to develop the future of PM. The EPMA serves all types of member organisations, from component, metal powder, and equipment producers to end users, research centres, universities, and individuals who have an interest in PM.
The JPMA serves the interests of the powder metallurgy industry in Japan.
The Powder Metallurgy Research Center (PMRC) at Worcester Polytechnic was formed in
1992 to address the scientific, engineering and management problems of the powder
metallurgy industry. The PMRC is one of the three distinct research consortia of the
Metal Processing Institute at WPI.
The Center for Innovative Sintered Products (CISP) at Penn State is a true partnership between universities, industry, government agencies and professional and trade associations to develop cutting-edge technology for the processing of sintered materials. CISP was formed as an outgrowth of the P/M Lab and other campus-wide efforts to focus Penn State resources on this important industry. The Center is headquartered at University Park, but shares tasks with engineers and scientists from universities and companies across the U.S. and abroad.
The Society of Automotive Engineers has more than 90,000 members—engineers, business executives, educators, and students from more than 97 countries—who share information and exchange ideas for advancing the engineering of mobility systems. SAE is a one-stop resource for standards development, events, and technical information and expertise used in designing, building, maintaining, and operating self-propelled vehicles for use on land or sea, in air or space.
ASTM International is one of the largest voluntary standards development organizations in the world—a trusted source for technical standards for materials, products, systems, and services. Known for their high technical quality and market relevancy, ASTM International standards have an important role in the information infrastructure that guides design, manufacturing and trade in the global economy.
Published monthly, Metal Powder Report helps professionals across the world to stay on top of the latest news and features on technical trends in the manufacture, research, and use of metal powders, bringing them a global perspective of the PM industry.
Powder Injection Moulding International is a quarterly business-to-business magazine dedicated to publishing technological and commercial advances in the international metal, ceramic, and carbide injection moulding industries. The magazine will offer in-depth coverage of these industries, with editorial content supplemented by invited industry expert comment and analysis.
MD&M conferences and expositions are the total resource events for medical device and equipment manufacturers. They feature the latest advances in medical-grade materials, components, electronics, computer-aided design and manufacturing, production machinery, packaging, sterilization, quality systems, device communications, networking, enterprise IT…and much more.
